Humko Deewana Kar Gaye

The 2006 Raj Kanwar romance drama was the first movie to pair Kumar and Kaif as Aditya Malhotra and Jia Yashvardhan, respectively. Due to Kaif’s inability to speak Hindi at the time, her voice had to be dubbed in the movie, which made her on-screen appearance somewhat awkward. Despite subpar voice dubbing, the movie lifted key passages from popular Hollywood movies like “Notting Hill” and “Crash.” Despite having Anil Kapoor and Bipasha Basu in supporting roles, “Humko Deewana Kar Gaye” failed to perform well at the box office but is still remembered as a great film. 

Namaste London

Namastay London is a great Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif movie that tells the story of an Indian girl born and raised in London who is forced into an arranged marriage with an Indian man. It explores themes of cultural identity, love, and the clash of traditional and modern values. The storyline is a mix of romance, comedy, and drama, offering an entertaining and engaging narrative. Anees Bazmee’s action comedy  Welcome was Kumar and Kaif’s second movie together and first one which was comedic. Kaif portrays Sanjana, the beloved sister of thief Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar). Despite Uday’s best efforts, he was unable to find Sanjana a suitable match due to the mafia reputation of their family. At this point, Kumar’s Rajiv Saini enters the picture. The film was a commercial success, performing well at the box office. The film resonated with audiences for its humour, memorable dialogues, and entertaining performances.

De Dana Dan

De Dana Dan boasts a star-studded ensemble cast, including Paresh Rawal, Katrina Kaif, Sameera Reddy, and Johnny Lever, among others. The actors deliver energetic performances and display good comic timing, contributing to the humour of the film. The film  follows the story of two friends, Nitin and Ram, played by Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty, who are desperately trying to make quick money to pay off their debts. Singh is King

“Singh is Kinng” was a commercial success and received positive reviews from the audience. The film’s title track, “Singh is Kinng,” became immensely popular and remains a favourite among Bollywood music enthusiasts. It is often remembered for Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of the lovable and comical character Happy Singh.

The film showcases Happy’s journey from the village to the city of Australia, where he encounters various colourful characters and gets involved in comedic situations. Tees Maar Khan

Kumar and Kaif reunited in 2010 for the masala movie “Sheila Ki Jawani,” which became famous for its “Sheila Ki Jawani” item number.  The film follows Tees Maar Khan’s misadventures as he tries to execute the robbery while facing various obstacles and comedic situations.

In terms of box office collections, “Tees Maar Khan” managed to earn approximately ₹95 crores (Indian Rupees) worldwide. However, the film did not meet the high expectations set by its pre-release buzz and fell short of being a major commercial success.
